Public Hearings will be held in Council Chambers, City Hall, 301 St. Ann's Road.
To speak during the public hearing in support or in opposition to a proposal, you must attend the Public Hearing at the time and date indicated. You may register ahead of time by phoning the Legislative Services Department at 250-286-5700 or email firstname.lastname@example.org . Additionally you may sign in upon arrival at the public hearing.
Visit the Council Agenda page the Thursday prior to the schedule Public Hearing to see the public hearing agenda.
At the meeting, you will have five minutes to speak. The five-minute limit also applies if you are speaking on behalf of family members, neighbours, citizen groups, association members, etc.
Give some thought to the important points you want to make so that you can stay within the allowed time.
SUBMITTING INPUT FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
Public hearings are recorded and broadcast through the City’s website. All correspondence submitted will be published as part of the public record when this matter is before Council or a Committee of Council.
The author’s address is considered relevant and will be included. Do not provide a phone number or email address if you wish to keep this personal information private.
Council is prohibited from receiving any further information after a public hearing.
