Toilet Rebate Program

In order to promote resource conservation, the City is offering a rebate of $50 to homeowners who install High Efficiency Toilets (HETs). HETs have a maximum flush volume of 4.8 litres or less. Dual flush toilets are also considered HETs as they have a reduced flush of up to 4.1 litres and a full flush of up to 6 litres. Installing a water efficient toilet may save more than 70 litres of water per person per day. Eligibility requirements apply. Appliance Rebate Program

The City is offering a $50 rebate on ENERGY STAR washing machines and dishwashers.Replacing your old washing machine with a water efficient model can save up to 64,000 litres of water and 256 KwH of electricity per year. Installing a water efficient dishwasher can also help save water and money.
