The Environmental Advisory Committee's function will be to make recommendations to Council, on environmental issues of concern related to environmental sustainability, waterfront foreshore restoration and protection, Campbell River Estuary, conservation areas and passive parks, green ways and green spaces, streams and wetlands, landfills, organic waste (composting), energy and emissions, effects of climate change (storm severity, sea level rise), and watershed and water conservation and other matters as referred by Council. more...
