Social Grant applications for the Campbell River Disc Golf Society, Second Chance Recovery House and Campbell River Alano Club are receiving funding through alternate funding sources.
The 2020 projects include social initiatives ranging from a youth carving program, to a facility kitchen upgrade, to mental health support, to addressing homelessness. Following this pilot granting launch year, the program will be further refined and formally established as an annual program. The next intake of Social Grant applications is expected in the summer of 2020. The Community Partnership Committee will review and make recommendations to Council on future application intakes.
