    Advance voting up 32 per cent in Campbell River

    Voter turnout for the City of Campbell River’s two advance polls was up 32 per cent over 2011.

    When the second advance poll closed on Nov. 12, 2493 voters had cast their ballots, compared to 1883 in 2011.

    General Election Day is Saturday, Nov. 15.

    Polls will be open at  the Community Centre, Sportsplex and Discovery Passage Elementary from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.  

    Eligible Campbell River voters are encouraged to cast their ballots for Mayor, Councillors (6) and School Trustees (5).

    Note: free transit is available that day to help get people to the polling locations. 

    People can get to the Community Centre from all local bus routes, to the Sportsplex by routes 1, 2 and 5 and to Discovery Passage Elementary School on route 4.
