Campbell River Search & Rescue Society was founded in 1976 and officially incorporated in 1979. Campbell River Search and Rescue is a volunteer community-based search and rescue team. Its members are from all walks of life but share a common interest in providing an important life-saving service to the public, 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

Crime Stoppers encourages members of the community to assist local law enforcement agencies in the fight against crime by overcoming the two key elements that inhibit community involvement: fear and apathy.

Crime Stoppers provides a 24hour telephone number and secure Web Tips to encourage citizens in the community to volunteer vital information helpful to law enforcement agencies to fight against crime.

CRESST LogoEmergency Support Services (ESS) is a volunteer community-based provincial emergency response program that provides short term disaster relief in the event of an emergency or disaster. ESS also educates the public on emergency preparedness. All volunteers are trained to assist in the planning for and the implementation of ESS during an emergency response.
