City crews have been out all weekend clearing snow from priority routes and generally keeping ahead of the weather demands.

This morning all six plows are out working to keep primary routes open. There is also some smaller equipment around town clearing public parking areas. Depending on snow accumulation today, crews may get into some residential areas.

There is currently a snowfall advisory for today and tonight, and crews will continue to work to address snow clearing needs through the day and possibly into the night, depending on the weather.

With a warming trend expected to start tomorrow, crews will work to ensure catch basins are cleared to absorb the melting snow and minimize chances of localized flooding.

How can you help? If you are aware of a catch basin near your house, please do what you can to clear snow over the basin. The City has close to 4000 catch basins throughout the community – and we appreciate any help to keep them clear!
