Power Down 2 is an incentive program that offers thousands in rebates to homeowners to make their homes more energy efficient and comfortable. This program includes three offers for Campbell River residents:

  • Home Energy Assessment Subsidy
  • Oil to Heat Pump Top-Up Incentive
  • Municipal Partner Offer

This program is a continuation of Power Down Campbell River that ran in 2013 as a home energy conservation video challenge between five families, with the winning family receiving $1,500 for energy-efficiency renovations. More information on the first phase of Power Down Campbell River is available at the bottom of this webpage.

The Rebates

Rebates must be applied for by December 31, 2017. Number of rebates is limited. Terms and conditions apply.

Campbell River Evaluation Subsidy

$250 evaluation subsidies are available to Campbell River residents who have an Energy Adviser visit their home to assess its energy performance and identify energy upgrade opportunities. The $250 grant will be applied by the Energy Adviser before payment to help make it easier for the homeowner.
