Community Futures Strathcona
Community Futures Strathcona actively supports the development and growth of new and existing businesses in the Strathcona Region. They offer information, training, mentoring and consultancy services.


Immigrant Welcome Centre
Provides help & information to people who have moved to Canada from other countries in addition to offering resources, training and workshops for local agencies.

School District 72
​School District 72 is located on the east coast of central Vancouver Island, extending north to Sayward and south to Oyster River. The district also includes the outer islands of Read, Cortes, and Quadra. The area has a combined population of approximately 43,000 residents.


Service BC
Service BC is a source for front line government services and information in British Columbia. Service BC delivers hundreds of programs and services to residents, businesses and visitors, in person, online, and over the phone.

Service Canada offers access to a wide range of Government of Canada programs and services for citizens through more than 600 points of service located across the country, call centres, and the Internet.


Vancouver Island North Film Commission (INfilm)
INfilm provides liaison and location scouting services from their Campbell River office to productions interested in filming on northern Vancouver Island, from Nanaimo to Cape Scott, including the Powell River Regional District.


Volunteer Campbell River
The Volunteer Centre maintains a central registry for all member agencies and individuals engaged in volunteer activities in Campbell River.


Young Professionals
The four pillars of the Young Professionals of Campbell River are Business Networking, Social Interaction, Community Involvement and Professional Development.


Business Improvement Associations

Campbell River is home to three Business Improvement Associations (BIA’s) – Downtown, Pier Street and Willow Point. The associations demonstrate leadership that champions strong, vibrant and successful shopping regions within our community.


Campbell River Airport Authority
The Campbell River Airport is managed and operated under the direction of the Campbell River Airport Authority. They work to promote opportunities to travel to and from YBL and enhance the commercial land available for sale surrounding the airport. 

Campbellton Neighbourhood Association
The Campbellton Neighbourhood Association has the goal of rebuilding the Campbellton area of Campbell River, BC, one of the oldest parts of the community


 Downtown BIA
The Downtown BIA promotes downtown Campbell River as a vibrant, safe and business-friendly place.The BIA also liaises with the City on behalf of Downtown. They enhance the area with landscaping, facilities maintenance, lighting and safety. Visit the Downtown BIA’s Facebook page


Pier Street Association
The Pier Street Association has been successfully operated the weekly (seasonal) Farmer’s Market,  must-visit event from May to October. Pier Street Association have implemented murals, flower barrels, and maintain the area as an attractive community destination.  


Willow Point BIA

Vancouver Island Economic Alliance (VIEA)
VIEA is a collaborative partnership spearheading regional economic development for the Vancouver Island region. It provides the means for a multitude of communities, First Nations, businesses, and other key stakeholders to collaborate on broad-based economic development programs that improve the region’s overall capacity for growth.
